MANICure Monday | August Julep “It Girl” Tape Mani

Good Monday all my nail polish addicts.  I got my last Julep box a few months ago and just couldn’t figure out how in the world I wanted to incorporate the colors into a mani.  After showing them on Instagram my nail polish buddy Jen of Nail Chronicles suggested I do a tape mani.  And off I went in search of my rolls of foil tape!

After trying a few different configurations with the tape, I finally figured out 2 designs I wanted to do.  The tricky part with the tape is remembering the order you put them on so you don’t screw up and take the wrong one off first.  So I decided I better just stick with a simple pattern so I won’t end up having to redo them several times. My August Julep box came with 3 colors but I decided to use the raspberry color “Nellie” and the deep, dark charcoal brown “Fiore”.

I found so many cool ideas on Google when searching for tape manis, but until I perfect my crafts I’m going to keep them nice and simple…for now!  I love how these 2 colors look together and can’t wait to use them for more nail art in the future.

Margriet thank you! Such a HUGE compliment coming from one of my nail art crushes! And I’m in awe of you taking on this 365 days of nail art challenge. Great job you’re doing too!

Brittanie don’t be like me then get addicted. And you always know when good sales are going on so I could see your house busting at the seams with bottles of polish…LOL.
